Escape an Expense Report with Expense Report Generator

I remember the “good old days” when I was at AIG and had to fill out the monthly expense report. Having a corporate card was cool, but filling out the report at the end of the month was annoying – especially when there were random charges I forgot about – or for those charges where a receipt was nowhere to be found.

Maloney & Porcelli, a local steakhouse in New York City, has a tongue in cheek solution for your expense report – and they used a pretty creative domain name to go along with their “expense report generator” -  ExpenseASteak.com. This comedic website provides fictitious “photcopied” receipts that match any amount you type.

Pretty amusing if you ask me!

Monitor Domain Names with Domain Alerts

At any given time, I am tracking the registration details for a considerable number of domain names. Most of these names are owned by my companies, and I follow them as a security precaution. Other domain names I follow are names I am interested in acquiring, and yet others are names I follow for other reasons. There are a whole host of reasons why it’s important to monitor domain names.

DomainTools has a good way to keep track of domain names you have an interest in monitoring. The Domain Monitor service is completely free, and it’s easy to sign up for alerts. All of your alerts will be emailed to you, so you can track a variety of changes as the happen.

Some of the things you can track:

  • Ownership changes
  • Registrar changes
  • Expiration date updates
  • DNS changes

If there are domain names you want to follow, sign up for free alerts on them pretty easily and quickly.

Help Our Friends in the Philippines

PhilippinesBy now, you’ve probably heard the news about the devastating storms that are severely impacting the Philippines.  I know of several people with family, friends, and business colleagues in the Philippines. In fact, my friends at Offshoring.com, RickLatona.com, and TechFilipino have significant amounts of employees and business operations in the Philippines, and I know of several people who read my blog that live there.

During this difficult time, our Filipino friends can really use our support – especially some financial support if you have the means. The Philippine National Red Cross is actively assisting victims of Typhoon Ondoy (Ketsana) and Typhoon Parma (Pepeng), and they accept donations via Paypal to make it even easier to help.

Whether you know someone personally in the Philippines or not, they can really use our support. In addition to the Philippine National Red Cross, there are a few other organizations that are helping storm victims:

Google has set up a Typhoon Ondoy information page as well, so you can stay informed about what’s happening in the Philippines. Our friends in the Philippines can use our support.
