I definitely plan to thin out my domain portfolio dramatically and build more business-orientated sites - have already started with http;//www.BoatSearchEngine.com

Point #3

I remember you doing a video on cord banks, and how you said you went out and spent thousands upon thousands in securing .com .ca geo cord bank domains, a week later, I saw cordbank.com sell on sedo for $5K?

Now cordbank.com sits parked with a for sale lander, so wouldn't it have been wise to just purchase the 1 domain, rather than have thousands of dollars in renewals, rather than just one?

This is hilarious, you think sweepstakes cafes are going to be around in a year, smart move... they are already passing laws to shut them down.

Buying CloudApp.com for 24K, and IndianJewelry for $16 and basically selling them for 60 cents on the dollar to anyone that will hear your spam was really smart.

It is really these kind of fools they are paying 200% above what an end user will pay for a domain in the aftermarket that are suffering, and will continue to do so.

Agree with #4

In each of the past 3 years, my sales have been increasing, closing larger sales, and getting more offers.

Good predictions.

Disagree on 2 sorta.
If i compare from 2009 and nowdays it improved alot.
Seems Frank S woke the rest up to cough up more.

Disagree on 5.
The average joe aka joe sixpack has no clue atm anyways.
Any new gTLD that can leave a mark and attracts customers that actually use the gTLD is more viable then .co and has a stronger domain market. For the record i do not see any gTLD offer that, but time will tell.

For the rest yeah i agree.

Elliott:

Thanks for posting Adam's 2013 predictions. This is right on!

I've focused the past three months (since the T.R.A.F.F.I.C. convention) on not just being a domainer, but building out sites and creating lead generation and other meaningful businesses.

I'm now poised for a great 2013 kick-start from many of the ideas I learned from Adam and the T.R.A.F.F.I.C. convention (which is where I met Adam)

Best wishes for a happy holiday to all.
