At least not yet. You don’t sell a multi million dollar domain name with 1 domaining sponsored headline. At least I hope not. Because it would violate every rules I have learned from you and the other domain pros.

I’ve got plenty of other domains and a website that could possibly benefit from the exposure Elliot’s experiment would bring so that all went into the choice and price.

Maybe I will. As I mentioned, I was the one who bid on it initially but opted not to bid higher. Frankly and honestly, there isn’t much margin between Bill’s price and the auction sale price, so there may be a reason why he didn’t sell it yet.

Just wondering if you like Bill’s entry, why you don’t buy it off him now?

Thanks. I was surprised to learn you bid on it when you posted it the other day. I had no idea and yes, I noticed that domain while it was at auction. That’s one of the downsides of buying there.

it was tempting for me to post a domain just for that reason, but I truthfully didnt think I had one that was quite the caliber and at a great price that Elliot was looking for so i didn’t want to be disrespectful. good luck to anyone that did enter

I like your submission. I made the opening offer via Sedo, and the owner sent it to auction. Out of spite, I did not bid any higher because it’s frustrating when a domain owner takes a private negotiation and turns it into a public auction. My loss I suppose.

That would be very generous of Elliot considering the Domaining.com headlines aren’t cheap. I believe he’s just demonstrating this one time that they can be effective.

I’ve received a couple offers on the domain I submitted and I’m sure it’s due to being posted here.
