DNJournal’s Ron Jackson Interviewed by ABC News
DNJournal’s Ron Jackson made the mainstream press again, this time in an interview with ABC News regarding the Toys.com sale to Toys R Us in last week’s bankruptcy auction. It’s good to see mainstream coverage of the domain business, and I am glad news outlets continue to seek out Ron Jackson for his expert opinion.

Cool to see Ron being on the other side of the interview session for a change. However, I wonder if this is going to cause another rise (The press for Toys.com sale) for the industry when everyone floods over to buy domains. Will we see an overwhelming increase of badly educated newbies? Or sleazeball investors with bad intentions. More trouble than its worth right now? I hope not.

I don’t think it will cause a huge shift to buying domains again. While the financial investment can be pretty insignificant, I think the technical hurdles are a lot for people to overcome.
