FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SAY HELLO TO YOUR “CHEAP UNCLE”
One-of-a-Kind Web Site Combines Online Couponing and Comparison Shopping

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. (November 15, 2007) – CheapUncle officially launched today, introducing holiday shoppers to the first-ever Web site to successfully merge online couponing and comparison shopping into one, easy-to-use site. By taking coupons from its sister site, CouponCabin, and combining them with product price comparisons, CheapUncle uses unique patent-pending technology to provide its customers with the ultimate money-saving experience.
All shoppers need to do is logon to www.cheapuncle.com and plug the item they want into the search engine. Within seconds, the virtual “cheap uncle” will search coupons, deals and pricing information of more than 14,000 online retailers to find the best possible price. A link is then provided to the merchant’s site for easy shopping.
“Coupon sites work well if you know which retailer you want to purchase from, and comparison sites are perfect for tracking down the cheapest selling price for specific products,” said Scott Kluth, founder of CheapUncle and CouponCabin. “CheapUncle just combines the two and gives shoppers the best of both worlds.”
CheapUncle will be put to the test this holiday season. According to Advertising.com’s annual online holiday shopping study, 2007 is expected to be another strong year for online holiday purchases, with 84 percent of respondents planning to spend the same amount or more than they did during the 2006 holiday season.

About CouponCabin

When making online purchases prior to 2003, founder Scott Kluth became frustrated by constantly leaving the coupon code box empty because that blank code meant someone else was getting a better deal. Formally a retail site programmer, Kluth knew that consumers shared this same frustration when making online purchases. He decided to create a Web site that collected Internet coupon codes, giving online shoppers one place to check for coupons before making a final purchase. Since it’s launch in 2003, CouponCabin.com has been a leading online coupon destination, providing coupon codes and deals to over 2 million unique visitors each month.

Scott Kluth launched CheapUncle in 2007.
