Mike Mann Sells Luxury.CO for $60k

Mike Mann is reporting that his company has sold the domain name Luxury.CO for $60,000. The Whois data has not changed yet, so it’s not known who acquired the domain name or how the domain name will be used. With the end of the summer fast approaching, this will likely be one of the top ten sales of last week.

In May of 2011, Mann’s company sold Business.CO for $80,000. It appears that domain name was purchased as an investment, and it’s currently for sale again for $200,000 via GoDaddy.

Mann was an early investor in .CO domain names, and his company still owns a portfolio of keyword domain names. The list of names for sale is available on AUX.com.

.co is the greatest thing since .com started

Mike Mann is the king and one of the most ethical domainers around.

Wow. Buy. Buy. Buy .co!

.com is tapped out.

.Co is where the next great domain wealth mining is to be had.

There is so many great opportunities with

.Co right not, it is not even funny.

LLL.Co s are still going for sub-$1000

and still many keywords going for reasonable prices.

@ Daniel

Please tell me how this is a bubble. I would imagine there would need to be a lot more large sales to be a bubble.

.Co has formed a nice solid foundation.

It has become a blue chip domain extension.

You cannot go wrong in investing in this space.

Wasn’t it you who was begging for money/coupons so you could renew your .CO domain names? You’re like a cheerleader. Annoying grown man cheerleader.

well, I got my wish.

I raked together $15,950 in enough in donations, funding, and my hard earned money to renew 940 of my .Co domains.

Plus god gave me a present of my own with a

$50,000.00 sale plus another $6,000.00 in domain name sales
to be able to renew.

god has blessed me.

god finds ways to reward those like myself that work hard and promote correctly the right extensions.

It is a good notice, but in my opinion, despite the high number of names already registered, sales like these still have been low.
I pray daily for the .CO be more accepted by all segments of the web.

What name did you sell for $50,000? I don’t believe you.

Robert Cline

No this is true

I would tell you the name

if you tell me how much you’ve sold

the domains you’ve sold on that list of your domains you’ve sold

to me. You can even email it to my whois info that starts with jkim@ if you like to keep it private.

I just need this type of information. In fact, key information that I require for my future pricing.

I’ve seen some of the garbage you own, and I don’t believe for a second you sold a name for $50k.

I have nothing to prove, especially to a comment troll like yourself. I don’t think you’re anything but a cheerleader.

Nice big sale … but just like so many of the other large .CO sales we hear about … no buyer info, sometimes no whois change, no news of major development with these purchased names …

Interesting, sure. Good news for .co, possibly. But sketchy, as usual.

I think this is awesome news, however the timing is also extremely perfect. Did .co buy it back to have people renew their .co Domains?
Don´t get me wrong I registered quite a few in the past days because I do think the .co extension has huge potential. And you can get great generics for $10 at Godaddy these days.
Still great timing though.

@Jacek

I like the way you thinking bro.

“even no.1 eventually as it’s shorter than its older brother .com”

@E. Silver

I am prepared to show my screen shot of my $50,000.00 sale.
I hoping for funding my own domain renewal trust fund, but no matter, Ronald MacDonald house for the kids is just as good.
Once you see the screen shot of my sale, I wish for you to repudiate me of all the negative charges and name calling of me by all the unknowledgeable people.
Now the actual domain name will be covered but you will see the dollar amount along with me being the seller.
Let me know if this is agreeable to you.

I assume you will give me permission to confirm that the sale was fully completed by asking the team at Escrow.com. If you leave the name uncovered, I won’t report it, but it will allow me to confirm Whois changes correspond with the escrow agreement.
