El-Silver,

Sitting back on a Sunday and puffing a phat one or sipping a beer, and you come up with some wisdom, eh?

I'll back you on the need for ALL domainers to own the DomainTaxGuide.com ebook. Your readers would be surprised how much their CPA doesn't understand about domain investing. The Domain Tax Guide spells this out, and can save thousands of dollars.

Hey bradford brotha, Good to see you JUMP on those Tiger Woods domains RIGHT NOW. Some people will think you are RUNNING WITH THE DEVIL buying those, but us Van Halen's know domains better than these . Good thing you used that registrar in PANAMA.

I agree on the Tiger domains....don't see the big ROI there.

I am always amazed how quickly after a current event/breaking news event occurs how quickly domains are registered.....within literally three minutes of the plane landing in the Hudson back in January and one news source calling it a 'miracle on the hudson' - I quickly checked and within a minute or so MiracleOnTheHudson.com was registered....amazing!

Happy Holidays Elliot

Current event related domain names can be extremely lucrative from a revenue standpoint, but agreed not so much for a long term flip strategy, though sometimes you can flip them in the midpoint of the burnout and make money at that also. Timing is everything on these.

Lots of domainers do make a mad rush to grab these kinds as soon as breaking news hits the wire services and current event domains do indeed get oodles of instant traffic.
