I want to share ten recent acquisitions with you and hope you do the same in the comment section. I haven’t hand registered many names in the past few weeks, but I have been focusing on private acquisitions and auctions.

Here is a selection of new acquisitions from the past few weeks. I am keeping a few acquisitions private, mostly for competitive reasons. My corporate website lists additional investments of mine.

    Those look like some really nice acquisitions.

    My most recent acquisition is really thanks to you. I’ve been very inspired by the success and quality of your blog since I started reading it a few years ago and up until recently didn’t know what I wanted to blog about. Well, I finally found my niche – A blog about website themes, basically news & reviews for themes & the companies that make them. I know that you have a good familiarity with ThemeForest & themes in general, so let me know what you think of this niche. I’ve searched and currently there is no central source for news for this rapdly growing industry, and I hope to start this summer once school is over. Was surprised that the recent WooThemes DDOS attacks didn’t make Google News at all or news in general & I hope to become a go-to source for this niche.

    I got this name just a few days ago at Sedo (currently in the process of transferring)

    ThemeNews.com – $150 (I think it was a steal at this price)

    Currently the only competitor that I know of is only an aggregator & based on what I’ve seen with your blog, original content is really what makes a blog/news source great. I’ll probably at least have one quality post a day.

    I’ll be sure to send you an e-mail when its up in June. Also let me know what you think about a blog/news site just for website themes.

    Not many dot com hand regs worth the risk anymore. Even if the above are worth the risk chances are they won’t move/sell in the aftermarket unless/until I start to build something . . So mostly I only acquire what I’m willing and able to build and what I target also needs to correlate with decent PPC values so they generate a bit of income pending a sale OR contribute to my retirement’s passive income stream . . or the kid’s inheritance. :-/, ;)
