Your “Post Your Domains For Sale” threads were much better than these weekly broker listing threads. Waste of $100 for a sponsored headline. imho.
Hope you will encourage the readers to post their current domains for sale once in a week.. That should give us a feel of exact reflection of the domain market. I personally bought 2 domains from your readers in last two threads.

While these names are generally more expensive than user submitted names, when I post articles like the one you suggest, I see hundreds of names I wouldn’t take if they were given to me for free. It’s depressing to read lists of shitty names, so I post those articles sparingly.

BTW just to add one thing. I am in the process of purchasing one of the names that was listed here that I wouldn’t have known about it if wasn’t for these posts.
I guess that is illustrative of the advantage for sellers to have them listed where other domain investors read.
Also, I always look at prices as a starting point when it comes to negotiating. Some people have more flexibility than others, but it’s good to see what’s on the market.

To be honest your blog has become a bore of regurjatated news, nobody seems to care about, bring something fresh to the table, not simple maintenance to keep your banner revenue live.
The above names are a waste of adspace

Are you Ron or Jesse? It’s weird, but the IP address you used matches one used by someone who ALWAYS posts negative comments here (under a different name), so I will take whatever you say with a grain of salt.
That said, while your opinion is possibly shared by others, it is not generally validated by any of the metrics (traffic, traffic sources, and bottom line advertising revenue).
Traffic is as high as it’s ever been, and there are more comments than ever, so clearly there are plenty of people who care.
Frankly, if it wasn’t for the revenue, I would spend my time working on other domain related projects rather than providing an outlet for people to gain knowledge in order to make money and grow their own businesses. Aside from the revenue from advertisers and a few sales consummated on my blog, I don’t really gain anything from blogging any more.

$120k for replacement.com? Seems a bit steep…
I like blog posts on recent sales. Gives you an idea on what’s currently selling.
PS. Can we post some of our domains for sale with you?
