Women in Domaining Party During DomainFest
Despite the reputation as a male dominated business, there are many highly successful women domain investors and executives in the domain industry. During the DomainFest conference in Santa Monica next week, there is going to be a special event for women only: the Women in Domaining Party.
This year, Oversee is inviting women in our industry to share ideas, meet new contacts and have a chance to network with leading women executives. This year’s party will be held on Thursday, February 3rd from 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM at the Malibu Cabana near the Pool at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel.
No RSVP is necessary to attend. For more information about this event, please contact Oversee’s Lisa Box (lbox@oversee.net) with any questions.

Nice comeback, Elliot.
Now I’m even more bummed I can’t go. The scheduling didn’t work out, and I recently canceled my plans to go to DRT, despite the fact that I already had the airfare booked. I’m crossing my fingers that I’ll be able to attend TRAFFIC in October – but being active military, my schedule can change at any time.
It’s a great idea. I met Lori Anne Wardi and a handful of other women domainers at the 1-day Power Networking event, but really, there were only like five of us. It would be great to meet everyone and network in a larger setting.

Hmmm … with no gender-check in sight, good opportunity to “transvestite-crash” the party, no?

Thank you to Oversee for supporting the ladies in the industry!

Isn’t this sexist?
What happened if we had a male only party? (hmmm)
